We're four friends who live in Lincoln Park and noticed something: the best porch pumpkin services all focus on the North Shore suburbs. Meanwhile, our neighborhood — packed with beautiful brownstones and young families who love fall — had nothing.
So we started Chicago Pumpkin Authority. We source premium heirloom pumpkins, deliver them to your door, and hand-style your porch into something worth stopping for. You don't lift a finger.
We only buy pumpkins after you order, which means zero waste and the freshest possible product. We focus exclusively on Lincoln Park, so we know the porches, the vibes, and the neighborhood. And our pricing sits well below the competition while delivering the same premium look.

We operate from September through November, with October being peak season. We recommend booking early — install slots fill up fast, especially for weekends in October.

We serve Lincoln Park, Chicago. If you're in the neighborhood (roughly from North Ave to Diversey, Clybourn to the lakefront), we've got you covered.
Most installs take about 30–45 minutes. You don't need to be home — just let us know where you'd like the display, and we'll handle the rest.
Pumpkins are natural and their lifespan varies, but a well-placed display typically lasts 4–8 weeks. If something goes south early, reach out and we'll work with you to replace it.
We currently accept Venmo, Zelle, and cash, with credit card payments (via Stripe) coming soon. Payment is due when you book — we'll confirm your install date right away.
Absolutely. Our three packages are starting points — if you want more pumpkins, specific colors, or a particular style, just let us know when you book and we'll put together a custom quote.
